Jeremiah Knopp - (Co-Founder)
Jeremiah is a Certified Fitness Trainer and Certified Sports Nutritionist. He has been in the sports supplement and fitness industry for over 8 years. Jeremiah has written many sports nutrition articles for national magazines. Jeremiah bring over 8 years of Ecommerce experience , marketing experience, and business knowledge to our team. Jeremiah has previously owned a Sports Supplements Company and a consulting company.
Jeremiah is currently working on his Youth Fitness Certification from ISSA ( International Sports Science Association and his Strength & Conditioning Certification from NSCA National Strength & Conditioning Association
Mike Hanik, MEd(Co-Founder)
Mike is originally from Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada. Mike played a number of sports growing up. As a teenager, Mike was involved in competitive swimming, select team soccer, and basketball. He went on to play college basketball at Trinity Western University and then Simon Fraser University. While in university, Mike got involved in coaching and athlete development. He has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Education in Sports Administration. Mike is also a certified Level 1 Youth Fitness Specialist through the International Youth Conditioning Association.
Mike has been involved in coaching youth, high school and college athletes for over 20 years. His first coaching job was a freshmen boys basketball team at New Westminster Secondary School. After completing his playing career at Simon Fraser University, Mike stayed on as an assistant coach. In graduate school, he helped start and coach a women’s club soccer team. He spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the varsity girls’ basketball team at Brazos Christian School in Bryan, Texas. He helped guide the team to a regional final his first year and to the state tournament his second year. Mike is now involved in coaching his children’s youth soccer and basketball teams.
Mike has been an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University for 10 years. Mike has taught thousands of young people how to get fit and make regular exercise part of a healthy lifestyle. Mike’s passion is helping all people reach their wellness goals. Mike currently lives in College Station, Texas with his wife Amy and their 4 children.

Bruce Hanik , Ph. D
Dr. Hanik is a professor of Health at Texas A&M Univerisity specializing in online education. Dr. Hanik is an expert in Health Education and has co-authored multiple online classes at the college level. Dr. Hanik joined Family Time Fitness in 2011 to expand the online curriculum offerings.
Marc Lochbaum, Ph. D
Dr. Marc Lochbaum is a Professor of Sport & Exercise Psychology at Texas
Tech University. Dr. Lochbaum is an expert in the study in the study of
personality and individual motivations for physical activity and competitive
sport. He has published over 40 articles and book chapters and presented
over 60 presentations at national-international sport psychology and sport
Dr. Lochbaum has coached and played competitive sports at nearly all levels
from youth sport to professional basketball. He has also coached or
instructed a number of other sports and physical activity at the collegiate
level. Based on these experiences, Dr. Lochbaum has a very successful

In the near future, Dr. Lochbaum will in the near future be contributing his
applied sport psychology expertise to Family Time Fitness with his book,
Have a Look in the Mirror. Dr. Lochbaum has extensive sport psychology
Dr. Lochbaum joined Family Time Fitness in 2012 to contribute to the sport
and physical activity offerings.
Last and important to the Family Time Fitness team, Dr. Lochbaum and his
wife are proud home school parents.
Leah Lintz has had a love for fitness her entire life. She was homeschooled as a child and her dad taught very young to love and value the benefits physical activity.
Leah received her B.S. and M.S. in Kinesiology at Texas A&M University and is currently a part time instructional professor in the Health and Kinesiology department at Texas A&M. She has an extensive background in fitness and health in such areas as strength training, cycling, boot camp, step aerobics, kickboxing, sport conditioning and running. Along with the activity classes, she also teaches health to the college students.
Leah currently resides in College Station, TX with her husband and 3 children. She is a certified Schwinn indoor cycling instructor and her past certifications include group exercise instructor, AFFA and certified personal trainer, NSCA.
